Boarding Information

As we all know, our pets do not like being left or the feeling of isolation. Your pet will not be kept in an isolated area at House of Tails. They are housed in a large open area attached to the front of our home. This creates, as close as possible, home atmosphere with all the sights, sounds and smells of a home.

Large and Small - We care for them all!

Your Pets' care does not stop at closing time!

All these Services, plus our love and care for animals, makes House of Tails more than just a place to kennel your pets. We are proud to state that many Pets are successfully kenneled at House of Tails that could not be kenneled elsewhere.


House of Tails offers the following tips when boarding your pets:

    • Keep an up-beat attitude when preparing and/or bringing your pet.
    • Use a matter of fact attitude when leaving your pet. ("Fido, we will be back to get you on Sunday").
    • Bring an item from home with your own scent on it.
    • Tell pet care personnel of any unusual habits, such as limping, sneezing, coughing, itching, timidity or aggressiveness. If your pet has lost his or her sight or hearing this is very important to convey.
    • If possible, leave an emergency number where and when you can be reached.

We encourage you to call while your pet is with us.
