Steps Involved in Grooming your Pet.

• All mats and debris are brushed out of pet's coat.
• Animal is bathed in our premium shampoo, appropriate for coat type.
• Coat conditioner is applied.
• Animal is either hand-dried or cage-dried depending on coat type.
• The brush-out  is repeated to see desired length of coat.
• The coat is clipped and scissored to produce breed standard look, or owners' preference.
• Hair on feet is trimmed, pads cleaned out and nails clipped.
• Ears are plucked, (when applicable) and cleaned.
• Animals are checked for new or size increase of any lumps.

Tips for maintenance grooming at home.

• Keep animals coat brushed and free of mats.  Mats attract moisture and make pets cold, damp and uncomfortable.
• Do not bathe a dog that has not been completely brushed out. Water sets mats and makes for a bigger problem to brush out.
• Do not get shampoo in eyes.
• Put cotton in ears to protect  moisture from getting into ear canal and causing problems.
• Check between toes and pads for cracks and weed seeds. 
• Watch for skin problems, wounds or growths that may need a veterinarians' attention.
